30سپتامبر ـ فرمانده سپاه پاسداران نخبه ايران روز دوشنبه گفت كه حسن روحاني
رئيس‌جمهور بايد كه تماس تلفني تاريخي از همتاي خود باراك اوباما را رد مي‌كرد.
ژنرال محمد علي جعفري در مصاحبه با سايت تسنيم گفت،
”رئيس‌جمهور موضع قاطع و مناسبي در خلال اقامتش در نيويورك در مجمع عمومي ملل متحد
اتخاذكرد. ولي همان‌طور كه وي از ملاقات با اوباما سرباز زد او بايستي كه تماس
تلفني با وي را نيز رد مي‌كرد و بايد منتظر اقدام محسوسي از جانب آمريكا مي‌شد ” .
اين
اولين انتقاد علني توسط يك مقام ارشد ايراني از اولين تماس مهم روز جمعه ميان
رهبران دو كشور بود كه از زمان قطع روابط ديپلوماتيك بعد از انقلاب اسلامي سال1979
صورت مي گرفت.

TEHRAN، September 30، 2013 (AFP) - The commander
of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards said Monday that President Hasan Rouhani
should have refused to take last week's historic telephone call from US
counterpart Barack Obama.
"The president took a firm and appropriate position
during his stay" in New York for the United Nations General Assembly، General Mohammad Ali Jafari
said in an interview with the Tasnimnews.com website.
"But just as he refused to meet Obama، he should also have refused
to speak with him on the telephone and should have waited for concrete action
by the United States."
It was the first public criticism by a senior Iranian
official of Friday's landmark first contact between leaders of the two countries
since the rupture of diplomatic relations in the aftermath of the 1979 Islamic
revolution.
